Incredible $30 Cartography Humble Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream

After a short availability back in April, this cartography software collection has returned for a limited time that lasts through early December. Hailed as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" developed by a specialized software company over the years, the complete package is valued at over $1,300. And there are multiple package options available here.

Primary Feature

The big draw is definitely a lifetime license to the CC3+ software, an industry-standard mapping application which enables users to generate various types including fantasy overworld maps, smaller regional maps, city maps, and, perhaps most importantly, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.

Entry Level

The most affordable option, starting at just one dollar, includes only four of the 39 total items: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Castle Source Maps, Urban Source Maps. This one's only for existing CC3+ users, but it does offer fresh fantasy design elements for overworld maps, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens for use in virtual tabletops, more than two dozen aerial castle designs with 470 associated map tokens, eight fully mapped cities, and more than 70 urban floorplans.

Mid-Range Option

The eight-product collection starting at fifteen dollars offers enhanced value through inclusion of permanent CC3+ access, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. Cartographer's Annual is the yearly bundle from the company's ongoing subscription program which includes multiple CC3+ enhancements like map collections and additional utilities. Isometric Cities lets you present urban areas in 3D perspective using angled views from multiple angles. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping comprises 760 pages for beginners and "power users" alike, full of tips and tutorials covering cartography techniques.

For $30 as opposed to $15, the full bundle offers tremendous value, especially for cartographers with temporary CC3+ access and want to upgrade to lifetime. But it's obviously more advantageous for cartography beginners considering you even get introductory guides to help you get started. The one caveat here though the purchase is available across platforms, the applications only function on Windows.
